Sheila Mannix lives in Cork and works part-time as a research administrator in the French department at UCC. This is her second Smithereens chapbook, having previously published female corpse in 2017. Sheila has also published Dual Poet Reader: One, with Nathan Spoon (hardPressed poetry). Lashed across the Skies features work which has previously been published in Shearsman, and gorse, and she is a featured artist in Icarus Magazine 68.2 (March 2018).
